In Oct 2015 I made 10 days trekking tour to the Annapurna Base Camp and a guided sightseeing tour through Kathmandu.
It was my 70th birthday in Jan 2016. To mark the occasion I had the idea that a trek in the Himalayas would represent a suitable celebration. My much fitter nephew also expressed an interest.
My daughter Tamara and I spent a lovely time in Nepal visiting Kathmandu and Pokhara with Sharmila and she was a knowledgeable guide and a fun and engaging travel companion.
